Reminders
Boat Registrations expire on December 31st. Now you can Renew online. Excise tax on documented boats is due January 1st.
ATV and Snowmobile registrations expire on June 30th.
Motorcycle registrations expire on March 31st
Property Tax Payments are due by the second Monday in February.
Interest will accrue after that date unless you sign up for the Tax Club.
Dog Licenses expire on December 31st. Late fees are assessed on unlicensed dogs on February 1st. Dog Licenses are available at the Town Office. Cost for spayed/neutered dogs is $6.00. Cost for unspayed/unneutered dogs is $11.00. Dogs licensed February 15th and after will also include a late fee of an additional $25.00. Proof of current rabies vaccination required - check with the Town Office to see if already on file.

General Assistance
General Assistance is administered in accordance with Maine state law. General Assistance gives help with basic necessities such as food, shelter, fuel, electricity, and medical services. In order to receive assistance, applicants must meet eligibility guidelines and follow program rules.
Donna Michaud is the General Assistance Administrator.
You can apply for general assistance in person at the Town Office.
